I started to play with cherry and walnuts, it seem a good pairing, but at first test it wasn't amazing and I switched to a classic FA Hazelnut to get a slight roasted taste.
As a base I used Red for Pipe from Inawera, one of the most famous cherry tobacco paired with the "infamous" cherry by FA, but you know what.. keep it low and steep it.
But to make a cherry pipe tobacco I needed a stronger base,RFP is not enough the most famous cherry tobacco came to my mind : Mac Baren's Red Ambrosia, a mixture of Cavendish,Burley, Virginia, already got the sweet Virginia tobacco, so I added the other two.
What's a pipe tobacco without the vanilla hint and a good Vanilla, to pair with tobaccos is undoubtedly Shisha Vanilla, not one of my favourite stars, but with tobacco... it's dry enough.. there you go, started with one idea and finished completely with another one..
